Controls are maintained and evidenced year round rather than rebuilt each audit season, the observation windows for both examinations run on one calendar, and one evidence base feeds both. When the independent audit firm begins fieldwork, requests route through BD Emerson, populations and samples are ready, and Intellinum's team answers the questions only they can answer instead of managing the audit itself. The relationship has run since 2022, long enough that each year's cycle starts from a known-good baseline instead of a discovery exercise.
The May 2025 cycle closed with the SOC 2 Type 2 and SOC 1 final reports issued together. Intellinum's customers get current assurance on both fronts every year, and Intellinum's engineers spend audit season building product.
