Foundry implementation

AIP deployment

Working sessions with your operators and data owners produce a first ontology: object types, link types, properties, and the source system behind each one. Foundry first arc, 6 to 12 weeks

One use case taken from source data to an application people use in their daily job. The arc covers pipeline builds, ontology objects, a Workshop app, and the access controls that decide who sees which rows. Duration depends on how many source systems feed the use case and how much cleanup the data needs before it lands. Your team pairs with our engineers through the build, so your staff can maintain the pipelines and the app at the end.

An AIP agent scoped to a task your team already does by hand, wired to the ontology so it reads real objects instead of loose documents. We build the retrieval, the tool calls, the evaluation set, and the guardrails that keep the agent inside approved data. A review of a Foundry or AIP deployment against how it is actually configured: markings, access policies, group membership, external connections, and audit logging. Environment count and whether an air-gapped deployment is in scope drive the effort. The pack is yours to hand an auditor, a customer, or your board.

We prepare a system for FedRAMP authorization: boundary definition, control implementation, the SSP and supporting documents, and the remediation work that comes out of a gap review. BD Emerson does implementation and readiness only and is not a 3PAO, so an independent assessor performs the audit. Effort tracks the impact level you target, the size of the boundary, and how much of the control set already operates. You keep the documentation package and the control evidence.

We scope where CUI lives, assess the NIST 800-171 controls against how your systems are configured today, and produce a gap assessment with an SPRS score and a POA&M. BD Emerson is not a C3PAO, so a certified assessor conducts the certification assessment. Effort depends on how many systems and enclaves fall in scope and whether CUI can be narrowed to a smaller boundary. You end up with the SSP, the POA&M, and the evidence a C3PAO will ask to see.
